Description of event:
Bioinspired Materials 2018 conference will take place for the third time at Manchester Metropolitan University on 10th October. Notable keynote speakers include Prof. Alberto Saiani (University of Manchester), Prof. Patrick Wagner (KU Leuven) and Jane Wood (Manchester Metropolitan University).

Abstract submission is open until mid August and can be send to bioinspired@mmu.ac.uk. The organizers can also be contacted on this email address to ask for more information.

Important dates for your diary:

1st August 2018 - Abstract submissions and oral presentations close
1st September 2018 - Notification of acceptance
29th September 2018 - Registration deadline
10th October 2018 - Conference takes place

I attended this meeting last year. It is well worth attending and also suitable for PhD students. The meeting is great for MIP researchers but not exclusively focussed on MIPs. Marloes and the MMU team are great organisers and hosts.
