Start date: 28 Aug 2019
End date: 30 Aug 2019
Venue: BAM, Berlin

Description of event:
Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the organising committee, I am sending the first call for papers for the 8th Graduate Student Symposium on Molecular Imprinting, which will take place at the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM), Berlin, Germany the on the 28th - 30th August 2019.

Registration will begin shortly and we have the following two deadlines:

Deadline for abstract submission: 30th June 2019
Registration deadline: 19th July 2019

We hope to be able to count on your support for this Symposium which, as ever, has the central purpose of providing a platform for early career researchers (ECRs) active in any area of molecular imprinting to present their work and to network with other ECRs from around Europe and beyond.

The programme for the 8th Symposium will include two/three Plenary lectures, with speakers to be announced at a later date.

The remainder of the programme will comprise lectures from graduate students, chosen based on the quality of the abstracts submitted. Those not selected for an oral presentation will automatically be given the opportunity to present their work as a poster. The ethos of the meeting remains that all delegates should present, the emphasis being on oral presentation. Abstracts should be submitted by e-mail to: gssmip@gmail.com.

As in previous incarnations, there will be no registration fee for the meeting and delegates will receive a conference pack and invitations to the welcome reception.  A small fee will be charged for the conference dinner.

Further details can be found at the Symposium website, which you are encouraged to visit to obtain the most up-to-date information.
