Th cover feature in the current issue of The Column is an interview with Antonio Martín-Esteban (of the Department of Environment of the National Institute of Research and Technology in Agricultural and Food Science (INIA) in Madrid, Spain) discussing his recent work in the development of MIP-based SBSE. The key recent development is the preparation of magnetic MIP monoliths with entrapped magnet nanoparticles which act as the stir-bar and selective extraction phase.
