Group description:
We focus mainly on the design of novel MIP thin films and nanoparticles as well as composite materials for chemical sensing. Works include both fundamental development and description of such systems and real-life application scenarios. In recent years the group has participated in a range of EU-FP7 projects aiming at actually implementing MIP into analytical systems. Target analytes include both (hazardous) chemicals and biological species in gas and liquid phase.
